| Descrição e Informações Adicionais | This text to present an overview of the Brazilian practice in the field of monitoring and controlling health problems associated to water supply. The methodology adopter to describe the Brazilian reality was to select eight of the 26 Brazilian States. Data were collected througth two different ways. In first four States, data were obtained through interviews with local authorities, while in the last four a questionnaire was posted and answered by the respective Water Supply and Sanitation Company of the States. Answers were tabulated, comparing the several monitoring procedures. |
