Descricão e Informacões Adicionais | A violência praticada por parceiro íntimo (VPI) contra a gestante é um fenômeno prevalente, cujas repercussões afetam diretamente a saúde da mulher. Objetivo: identificar a ocorrência de VPI entre as gestantes cadastradas na assistência pré-natal em uma unidade básica de saúde de Santa Maria/DF e apreender a vivência de violência dessas mulheres. Método: o estudo foi misto, transversal, descritivo e exploratório. Fez uso de técnicas quanti-qualitativas na coleta e análise de dados. Durante três meses (Junho a Agosto de 2015), aplicou-se questionário e entrevista para identificação das situações de violência e conhecimento do fenômeno em profundidade. No total, 178 gestantes participaram da aplicação do questionário e 6 delas foram convidadas para a entrevista. Os dados quantitativos foram submetidos à testes estatísticos para verificar as associações das variáveis com a vivência de violência e as entrevistas à análise de conteúdo. Resultados: os dados quantitativos apontaram que a prevalência da violência em algum momento da vida foi de 33% e durante a gestação de 20,6%, sendo a violência psicológica a mais recorrente (16%). O parceiro íntimo atual ou anterior foram os principais autores da violência (75%). A vivência de violência apresentou associação com raça (valor-p= 0,0105), pessoas que residem no mesmo domicílio (valor-p= 0,0475), ter parceiro íntimo no momento da pesquisa (valor-p= 0,0067), ter filhos com o parceiro atual (valor-p= 0,430), número de gestações (valor-p= 0,0105), ter feito uso de drogas antes (valor-p= 0307) e durante a gestação (valor-p= 0,0092), ter vivenciado violência alguma vez na vida (valor-p <0,0001), ter medo do parceiro (valor-p= 0,0002) e ter identificado problemas de saúde devido à violência (valor-p= 0,040). Descricão e Informacões Adicionais(en) | The violence by an intimate partner (IPV) against pregnant women is a prevalent phenomenon, whose consequences directly affect women`s health. Objective: To identify the occurrence of IPV among pregnant women enrolled in prenatal care at a basic health unit of Santa Maria / DF and seize the experience of violence these women. Method: The study was mixed, cross-sectional, descriptive and exploratory. Made use of quantitative and qualitative techniques in data collection and analysis.
