Descricão e Informacões Adicionais(en) | The main objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of the opportunities of realization of personal values at work on well.being. More specifically we tried to test the moderating effect of personal values on the relationship between opportunities of realization and well.being. A sample of 403 civil servants from a public institution in Brazil answered a questionnaire that included measures for each of the variables studied. The results from hierarchical regression shown that there were no significant interactions between values at work and personal values priorities in the prediction of well.being at work. The mere presence of opportunities of realization of values that express individual values is enough to increase well-being. On the other hand, this research included variables that up to now have been not used in the field of well-being at work, especially in relation to its eudaimonic and hedonic elements. |
