| Descricão e Informacões Adicionais(en) | This present study reports the comparative results obtained by evaluating the similarity and efficiency of dissolution of dipyrone from seven brands of tablets containing 500 mg of sodium dipyrone, one of these is the reference mark Novalgina®, available in drugstores in Brasília-DF. The dissolution profiles were determined using the following conditions: apparatus shovel, 50 rpm, 900 mL of 0.1 M HCl at 37 ± 1.0 ° C. The samples were collected in: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 minutes and the concentration of dipyrone was determined at UV spectrophotometry (258 nm). The comparison between the dissolution profiles indicated statistically significant differences in most of the brands tested. According to the analysis of the factors of similarity, only one similar medicine (S2) and one generic medicine (G2) showed similarity to the reference (R). The analysis of the effectiveness of dissolution also emphasized the similarity between these three medicines. |
