| Descricão e Informacões Adicionais(en) | The phenomenon of using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in its different aspects has had a huge space. However, most of the publications are aimed at private sector companies. With the increasing migration of public organizations to the use of these systems, as well as the evident commercial interest of ERP providers in this sector, it is understood the great importance of increasing knowledge about this system type. The objective is to describe the dimensions that influence the use of the business management system in a large financial institution in the Brazilian public sector. Using a case study of a large-scale implementation, thirty-two inherent dimensions were analyzed based on the Technology, Organization and Environment (TOE) model. As a result, the study identified, to what degree the established dimensions influenced the use of the system, the variables that affected higher or lower quality levels to the project as a whole and, finally, found the related benefits involving the studied organization. |
