Descricão e Informacões Adicionais(en) | Traditional teaching and learning methodologies in higher education are being questioned as to whether they really are as effective as they are believed to be. The application of innovative methods of teaching and learning is essential to motivate and generate a spirit of learning and enthusiasm on the part of the students, particularly in relation to their autonomy in the authorship of scientific texts. In this sense, the possibility of the use of new resources for learning shows that new practices are necessary for the foundation of research themes. The objective of this article is to present the use of the Challenges-Based Learning (CBL) to guide the elaboration of literature review of research topics. To achieve this goal, a review of the literature on active teaching and learning methodologies, a theoretical reference on CBL and an example of methodology use in the execution of bibliographic research of a research topic was presented. CBL, which is an active teaching methodology, is divided into three interconnected phases: engaging, researching and acting. The entire methodology is based on an ongoing process of documentation, reflection and sharing. The example presented focuses on the theme of Innovation Management, whose bibliographic research was carried out at Scopus. It is concluded that the application of the CBL methodology guides the researcher in the research process and in the elaboration of a more reasoned proposal, besides working on the construction of the literature review. Keywords: Active teaching and learning methodologies; challenge-based learning; literature review. |
